CANTEEN CALL
Hello Again!!!
Support Your Troops in Iraq is Back @ the VFW! The VFW Canteen is a drop off location to send some much needed Texas Love to our Troops over seas. These soldiers are greatly in need of letters, cards, even a short note will do, news papers, magazines, socks, undies, tooth paste, lip balm, sun screen (please no aerosol), packs of flavoring for that same ol same ol water, and non perishable snacks. You know; the things you would have liked to see from home when you were on the wars front lines. All donated items will be picked up once a week. Thank You in-advance for your Contributions!!

MEN’S AND LADIES AUX SHOUT OUT!
Pull Tab helpers are still needed, Men’s Auxiliary sale on Monday Nights and Ladies Auxiliary on Sunday and Friday, we are making money for our Auxiliaries and really need some help so everyone does not have to cover the sales all the time. Stop by or call the Quartermasters office to register as a Bingo Worker and then You can help your Auxiliary raise funds to help the community! We want to thank everyone that helps out in the Auxiliaries your time is very valuable to your Auxiliary.

May 19-22 Post Flags at Area Cemeteries (sign up sheet in Canteen)
May 23 Buddy Poppy Donations at area Business
May 24 Post Flags at Woodland, Elmwood, and Pollard Cemeteries
May 24 Hot Dogs Feed by the Talberts after flags are placed
May 26 Memorial Day Celebration at Woodland Cemetery
(hosted by the American Legion)
