I ask that you all keep Connie, Lewis, and her family in your prayers, as she and her family are facing some hard times.
With the loss of Jack Grantham we have lost a beloved comrade and a dear man of God. He will be missed

dearly among our ranks as well as those who loved and knew him outside our post. I ask that those of you who will to take a few minutes in silent prayer in memory of Jack and for his family who have lost so much.

FROM THE COMMANDER’S DESK

Thank you for the honor and privilege of being the Commander in what I consider the Best Post in the Sate of Texas.
Thank You, to all the Post Officers that served with me, without their help we could not have achieved all the accomplishments we did this year. From those accomplishments I will be receiving on behalf of Post 2399 many awards at the State Convention in Corpus Christi at the end of the month and hope to bring back many awards from the National Convention in August, as well.
State Commander Russ Richards had only good things to say about Post 2399 during his visit at the District 21 Meeting May 20th. He said it was outstanding Posts like 2399 that makes him look good as State Commander and that National recognizes it also.
I am looking forward to helping the new Officers leading our Post this next year. I ask you to help them out as much and even more than you were able to help me this year.
Thank you to each member that makes up Post 2399 & God Bless!
